Liverpool fc forward, Sadio Mane has welcomed Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly to Anfield ahead of this transfer window.
Mane, 28, wishes to see his fellow Senegalese compatriot to make a move to Premier league Club this summer, noting that he would be excited to play alongside him even at the club level.
“Kalidou Koulibaly is an excellent defender, and one of the world’s best in his position,” The Sun UK quotes Mane saying.
“I would be very happy to play alongside him at club level, as I have known him for years.”
Mane added on saying: “We first got to know one another at Metz before meeting up once more in the Senegal national team.”
“No Club could refuse the Chance to have Koulibaly in their Squad.”
“In any event, it would be pleasure for me to play for Liverpool together with him. He would be more than welcome here.” Mane said.
Koulibaly, 29, has been linked with different Clubs around European top leagues showing their interests in signing him from Napoli, among there’s Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester Utd, Tottenham and PSG for the past transfer windows.
The current African Player of the Year has known Koulibaly for some good years appearing with him in the National team in different tournaments like AFCON and World Cup.
